Your Role & Responsibilities

Assists in directing financial activities of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates: #Establishes, or recommends to management, major corporate finance objectives, and policies for company. #Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of assets, equity and liabilities, as well as income / sales, expenses, and earnings (RoS) and return on assets (ROCE) based on past, present, and expected operations. #Directs preparation of budgets and forecasts, reviews budget and forecast proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification. #Completes Month-end and year-end closing activities. #Works closely together with local and central Management Teams. #Establishes relationships and cooperation with MAHLE central departments. #Assists in product costing and project / program customer quotations; Responsible for establishing and maintaining machine rates and overhead rates for product costing purposes. #Advises management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities. #Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and product lines. #Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets. #Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions. #Arranges for audits of company's accounts. #Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies. #Assists in preparation of all State and Federal tax returns.



Your Skills & Strengths

  • College degree in Accountancy (CPA desirable) or Finance and three - five+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as accounting and controlling guidelines and technical accounting bulletins.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, especially excellent Excel skills, prior SAP skills a plus.
